Clearly I've had my share of annoying variations on my name. Here, the history of one of them has been presented.
how do I like being called "Cotton-Eyed Joe?" Probably as much as Joe likes being called Cotton.
which is to say, much more than "Polyster", but still far less than Cotton.

Wow. It is confirmed! Believe it or not I thought about how annoying that song must be and whether or not people associate this song with your name prior to this post. I concluded that I would never really know and that If I dared to ask even... well... we'd no longer be friends. Haha.
